A well-established mechanical contractor is seeking an experienced Engineering Team Lead to oversee HVAC and plumbing design projects for commercial and industrial builds. This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about driving technical excellence and team performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers and designers through all phases of HVAC and plumbing system design

  • Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and technical reviews to ensure quality and efficiency

  • Interface with clients, architects, and internal stakeholders to align design intent with project goals

  • Evaluate design feasibility, perform engineering calculations, and identify value engineering opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent technical training and experience

  • 5+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing design- build experience in commercial or industrial settings

  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2016+), Trace 700; Revit or BIM experience

  • California PE license and EIT certification are a plus; LEED accreditation is desirable

Salary: $120K – $150K (DOE, with some flexibility)

Pay Details: $120,000.00 to $150,000.00 per year
