An early-stage, high-growth company in the contract automation space is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead and scale their infrastructure operations. The company leverages large language models (LLMs) to streamline complex contract negotiation workflows for enterprise clients.

Role Overview :

The successful candidate will take ownership of a distributed environment that is rapidly expanding, with a focus on scalability, observability, and deployment automation. This is a hands-on, high-impact role with significant autonomy in shaping infrastructure decisions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Architect and evolve a scalable infrastructure environment with a minimal legacy footprint.
  • Manage a large number of isolated customer deployments (containers, databases, VPCs, etc.), ensuring robust orchestration.
  • Develop and maintain observability tools (metrics, logs, health checks) with real-time dashboards and automated alerts.
  • Lead incident response for infrastructure-related issues and participate in an on-call rotation.
  • Optimize CI / CD pipelines to dramatically reduce deployment times.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to build LLM-powered monitoring and diagnostic tools, including autonomous agents for issue detection and response.

Ideal Candidate Profile :

  • Deep expertise in orchestration and Infrastructure as Code (Pulumi experience is a plus, but alternatives are welcome).
  • Proven track record of balancing rapid execution with adherence to best practices.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure and / or GCP.
  • Solid understanding of Linux systems, containerization, SQL databases, and distributed cloud environments.
  • Passion for AI / LLM technologies and interest in developing infrastructure to support AI-driven products.
  • Compensation :

  • Base salary range : $170K – $260K USD , depending on experience and qualifications.
  • Additional Information :

    The client is a rapidly growing company that launched in 2023 and has seen strong market traction. This opportunity offers significant ownership, working on challenging infrastructure problems in a high-performance environment.
