Avatar Airlines is a national ultra low fare airline currently in the certification process. Once certified, Avatar will hire over 2,000 employees during its first year. Avatar's unique approach includes using Boeing 747 aircraft equipped with 581 seats and additional capacity for carrying 70,000 lbs of containerized freight. This structure allows Avatar to offer every day fares as low as $19, while maintaining profitability. Avatar aims to revolutionize air travel with the lowest costs and highest capacity in the industry.
Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Chief Executive Officer (CEO), based in Boca Raton, FL, with the possibility of some work from home. The CEO will oversee the strategic direction and overall operations of Avatar Airlines. Responsibilities include developing business strategies, setting comprehensive goals for performance and growth, leading and motivating a high-performance management team, and making high-stakes decisions to drive the companys vision and mission. The CEO will also build strong relationships with stakeholders and guide the company through the certification process and beyond.
Qualifications
- Must be able to invest $250,000 in Avatar
- Experience in strategic planning, business development, and financial management
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Proven experience in managing and building high-performing teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with the airline industry and regulatory environment is a plus
- An advanced degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field is preferred
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment
