ESCI Supplier Readiness & Development Business Engagement Manager

The ESCI Supplier Development Business Engagement Manager is responsible for the leading the Business Engagement team’s overall strategy, execution, and measurement of commodities’ performance relative to ESCI goals. The BE Manager’s responsibilities also include supplier performance management, commodity review leadership, risk mitigation, partner training, data integrity management, and executive-level presentations.Program & Project Management:Collect, maintain, and present data relevant to ESCI performance of Apple suppliersAnalyze and present SD risk assessments for suppliers, from product development thru ramp (i.e., Supplier Plan of Record reviews)Drive actions to improve supplier’s performance relative to ESCI goalsPartner with ESCI Supplier Development Regional Managers to escalate and resolve any non-compliance issues from CoC or other SD AuditsManage multiple simultaneous projects with minimal supervisionManage external resources or consultants as requiredBusiness Partnership:Facilitate and influence cross-functional team discussions to establish and enforce SD requirements in design, manufacturing, supplier selection, and site expansion decisionsDevelop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, SD internal functions and the third-party vendors to support SD initiativesCommunicate Supplier Development programs and progress internally, as well as build strategic external relationshipsPartner with internal business partners by providing information as neededEducate Apple personnel in ESCI programs, practices, and standards Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 10 years of experience in people management BA/BS degree in a relevant field Minimum 10 years of experience in supply chain management, procurement/operations management, new production/program introduction, and/or social responsibility Preferred Qualifications

MBA or masters degree in a relevant field 15+ years prior full-time relevant work experience in supply chain management, procurement/operations management, new production/program introduction, and/or social responsibility Outstanding project management skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under minimal supervision Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively with individuals and groups at all levels of the organization Strong leadership and team development skills Demonstrated analytical capabilities coupled with good business acumen Builds rapport with stakeholders both inside and outside the organization Demonstrated success in project management Demonstrated success in team leadership Skilled at multi-tasking, setting priorities, and meeting deadlines Ability and desire to work independently in a fast-paced team environment and function equally well as a leader, team member, and facilitator Strong capability with database and presentation applications Ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of cross functional partners across diverse cultures and backgrounds Experience in Procurement or Operations At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $178,900 and $269,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
