Command and Control Test Software Developer
to support the Boeing CST-100 Starliner program at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida Key Duties : Develop and implement command and control test software for the Starliner spacecraft. Design and support network-centric data systems for test architectures and measurement techniques. Select and apply appropriate instrumentation data recording devices for various test applications. Utilize programming languages such as C#, Java (J2EE/J2ME), C++, Visual Basic, C, Assembly, Ladder Logic, NC Programming, and Matlab. Apply knowledge of communications protocols including TCP/IP, FTP, XML, and WAP. Support computing systems running Windows, UNIX, and Linux operating systems. Use software development and testing tools including editors, compilers, simulations, and configuration/requirements management tools. Design databases and reporting structures using database engines. Integrate hardware and software components into cohesive, functional test systems. Execute software usability and functional testing. Develop and run test scripts and perform usability analyses. Required/Desired Skills, Experience, and Education

Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, or Doctorate of Science from an accredited course of studyin Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry. BS and 5 or more years of experience, MS and 3 or more years of related experience, or Ph.D. Desired Skills, Experience, and Education : 1 or more years of software experience working in various test environments including the use of virtual machines (VM), target hardware, and test stations. 1 or more years of experience with networking communications standards, IP Networking, and protocols (e.g. Transport Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Secure Transport Protocol (SCP), Extensible Mark-up Language (XML)).
