Upon your arrival, you will be part of a highly talented/skilled team working towards E-Space’s satellite/spacecraft constellation system architecture including modeling, simulation, and virtualization. You will be contributing to robust system architecture and framework that processes input(s) from a variety of systems, components, databases, and spacecraft sensors and evaluates possible configurations, strategies, and integration of software into the system. As a Software Engineer - Simulation and SW Integration, you will be responsible for software tooling of spacecraft simulation, modeling, and constellation systems, with an emphasis on software architecture and modules. What you will do
Architect, implement and integrate complex software components, tools for simulation/modeling, and virtualization of real-time spacecraft systems Construct, modify and maintain multi-agent simulation framework(s) for virtual testing and validation Modify and maintain existing (real-time) simulation and SW pipeline Create robust, well tested and reusable software libraries Write drivers to interface with third-party components and coordinate with vendors Debug, fix and resolve SW integration-related issues in a timely manner Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for SW system/module integration Why you're the right candidate
You have a Bachelor/Master of Science in Computer Science, EE, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace, Robotics or a related field with 4-6+ years' hands-on experience You have prior experience working with scaled simulation systems (1000+ nodes), mass applications, SW integration and troubleshooting software integration issues You have excellent knowledge of Python, Python libraries, software systems, SW integration and simulation architecture You have a practical, creative hands-on approach to applying the theory required to solve different modeling, simulation, tooling, SW and modeling based architectural/design challenges You have a passion for product excellence and quality You have a strong desire to create high-quality, robust SW, tooling and simulation products You have a strong desire to work as an integral part of a highly capable team You have excellent communication skills You have the desire to work in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment You have experience collaborating with other teams to ensure a smooth, robust implementation You are self-driven/enthusiastic/motivated to solve challenging engineering problems You have experience with Git and generic versioning systems You have experience with Agile methodologies You are proficient with building up and using continuous integration and deployment tool (e.g. Jenkins,...etc.) You have advanced experience with Python, Linux and C/C++ skills and embedded programming You are proficient with scripting (e.g. Python, Bash) You have successfully worked independently and cross-functionally with global teams Additional experience we'd like to see
Hands-on experience in system design, architecture and implementation Proficient in high level design and analysis Experience in low level software implementation Experience working in an automotive, aerospace, etc. environments Experience with Python SW development Experience with C/C++ software development $90,000 - $150,000 a year
