The purpose of this job is to provide leadership and vision in all phases of application systems development and support for the delivery of effective business system solutions to meet internal and external customer needs. Responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to the following: Executive oversight for all key departmental projects. Serve as the Executive interface between inter-department executive management and the ERP, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, & Back Office Control team(s), third party vendors, and business leaders. Lead IT Directors and Managers overseeing the development, implementation, and business systems for related areas. Oversee support and coordinate the design, implementation and maintenance of vendor supplied or custom applications to insure acceptance, reliability, and proper use of the applications. Ensure appropriate support/leadership governance processes are in place for IT operational support and issues, as required. Ensure appropriate application support resources are in place to support projects and implementations while supporting multiple tasks and ad-hoc requests. Ensure the maintainability, scalability, upgradability and flexibility of the ERP, Supply Chain, Inventory Management and Back Office Control System platforms and other assigned applications. Oversee the direction of preparing and maintaining of business requirement documents, project timelines, implementation design specifications, system flow diagrams, performance reporting, and other system documentation. Ensure 24x7 applications support to the Merchandising, Distribution Center, Contact Center, Finance, and Inventory Management business units. Partner with business units to leverage IT resources to better understand customer operations and processes, development opportunities, business requirements, and potential improvements while providing strategic recommendations. Responsible for compliance with Sarbanes Oxley and PCI policies as it pertains to Configuration Management, Security and Business Continuance. Work with other IT peers to ensure optimal performance of the applications (i.e. Infrastructure) and Project Delivery (i.e. Program Management, Product Management, and Quality Assurance). Additional duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor's Degree (or 4 years of equivalent work experience), preferably in Computer Science Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance 14 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience) 9 years of experience leading teams 7 years of experience managing and supporting a mix of applications in the areas Merchandising (JDA), ERP (JDA / Dynamics AX), Supply Chain (PKMS & High Jump), Financial (PeopleSoft), and Inventory Management (JDA E3 & Quantum). Advanced proficiency with Software Development Methodologies including Change Control, Production Support and Quality Assurance. Advanced proficiency managing and overseeing an on-shore/off-shore model for team resources for administrative support and development. Advanced proficiency managing vendor project engagements and ongoing partnerships. Advanced proficiency with cost control, budget development and monitoring or similar P&L responsibility. Intermediate knowledge of MS Share Point, Project, Visio, Sarbanes Oxley, and PCI. Pay Rate:

$201,000 - $251,000 depending on background and experience. This position is eligible to participate in the Guitar Center Company bonus program based on Company performance.
