This on-site leadership role sits within a fast-paced software development environment delivering product and platform initiatives for enterprise customers across the United States. Role Responsibilities

Lead and grow a cross-functional, on-site engineering team: recruit, coach, set goals, and run performance reviews to build a high-impact group. Own delivery for multiple projects: define scope, prioritise work, remove blockers, and ensure predictable, high-quality releases using Agile practices. Drive technical direction: partner with architects and senior engineers to influence system design, code quality, and operational excellence. Implement engineering best practices: enforce CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, automated testing, and observability for reliable production systems. Collaborate with product, design, and business stakeholders to translate roadmap priorities into engineering plans and measurable outcomes. Create a culture of continuous improvement: mentor engineers, run technical and career development programs, and promote knowledge-sharing. Skills Qualifications

Must-Have 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in a people-management or engineering lead role. Proven experience delivering production software (microservices, APIs, or web platforms) and managing SDLC end-to-end. Strong track record hiring, mentoring, and retaining engineering talent; effective performance management skills. Hands-on familiarity with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, test automation, and modern observability tooling. Excellent stakeholder communication and roadmap-planning experience with measurable delivery outcomes. Ability and willingness to work on-site in the United States full-time. Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
