Through my actions and influence, I will lead the technology department at Calvary to create systems and processes in which both ministry and volunteers can thrive.
Direct Responsibilities
Serve as the overall Tech Director over all worship services and venues. Must have 5 years’ experience in this role. Oversee the coordination of audio, lighting, video, and other technology for services, events, and other ministry-related functions. Ensure that the worship center and all production equipment are clean, organized, and maintained so they are ready for rehearsals, worship services, and events. Recruit, train, and oversee paid and volunteer staff in setting up and technically producing the worship services; coordinate schedules for the same. Oversee and manage the live-stream to campuses and worship venues – ensuring quality and consistency. Approve technology use and operation for all events on campus. Equip those who use Calvary’s spaces and resources to use our technology. Work with others on the Calvary Team to design and implement new and maintained technical systems when needed. Work alongside the Creative team for stage set design and implementation. Oversee all video requests, filming, editing, and production. Oversee capture, editing, and posting of weekly sermon series media (web/podcast). Oversee check-in computers/tablets, software, and volunteers. Understand the basic infrastructure of Calvary’s IT systems and network so that you can troubleshoot and support when needed. Calvary’s IT systems are a team-managed effort, including other staff members, volunteers, and contractors. Qualifications And Experience
This position requires at least 3-5 years of experience in production technology leadership. Ideally, this is within a church, but other areas of employment will be considered. To Apply
