Main purpose of the Tax Manager role: The Tax Manager will be responsible for overseeing, managing, preparing and executing all aspects of tax planning, compliance, and reporting. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in corporate taxation, strong leadership abilities, and the ability to collaborate across departments to drive tax efficiencies. Major Responsibilities: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Preparation and filing of federal, state, local, and international tax returns Preparation and remittance of estimated tax payments on a quarterly basis Preparation of quarterly tax provisions Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and stay up-to-date on tax law changes. Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize the company’s tax position. Manage tax audits and respond to inquiries from tax authorities. Collaborate with finance, accounting, and legal teams to assess tax implications of business decisions. Identify opportunities for tax savings and incentives. Maintain and improve tax policies and procedures. Work with external tax advisors and auditors as needed. Ability to optimize the use of technology for tax reporting. Required Competencies: To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: Proven track record of successfully managing complex tax issues and leading high-stakes negotiations with tax authorities. Extensive knowledge of domestic and international tax laws, regulations, and compliance requirements Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change across the organization Minimum Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance, or related field (Master’s degree or CPA preferred). Experience: 5+ years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in a managerial role. Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of federal, state, and international tax regulations. Experience with tax compliance, planning, and reporting. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders at all levels. Aptitude to reviews tax implication calculations and develops strategies for minimizing liability. Software Knowledge: Proficiency in tax software and ERP systems A successful candidate works well in a dynamic environment with minimal supervision. For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in California, Revolve includes a reasonable estimate of the salary or hourly rate range for this role. This takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions; including but not limited to business or organizational needs, skill sets, experience and training, licensure, and certifications.
