Senior Tax Analyst
to join our Corporate Tax team. This role is responsible for supporting the company’s corporate income tax compliance, reporting, and planning functions. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical tax knowledge, analytical skills, and a proactive mindset to ensure compliance with federal, state, and international tax laws and support business initiatives. Key Responsibilities: Tax Compliance & Reporting: Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns, including estimated payments and extensions. Assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual income tax provisions (ASC 740) in accordance with GAAP. Support tax return disclosures, schedules, and documentation. Analyze the tax implications of business transactions and recommend tax-efficient solutions. Participate in research and implementation of tax planning strategies to minimize overall tax liabilities. Audit Support: Prepare documentation and support responses to IRS, state, and local tax audits and inquiries. Maintain organized audit files and support data requests in a timely manner. Process Improvement: Help identify opportunities for process automation and improvements in tax reporting and compliance workflows. Assist in the implementation of new systems or updates to tax software. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Accounting, Legal, Treasury, and external advisors to gather data and ensure accurate reporting. Monitor legislative changes and assess the impact on the company’s tax position. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master’s in Tax or CPA preferred. 4–7 years of experience in corporate tax, preferably in a mix of public accounting and industry. Strong understanding of U.S. corporate tax laws and GAAP (ASC 740). Experience with tax preparation and research tools (e.g., OneSource, Corptax, RIA Checkpoint, CCH). Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial reporting systems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with international tax compliance and reporting. Familiarity with tax implications of mergers and acquisitions. Exposure to ERP systems like SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite. Seniority level
