This role focuses on handling class action and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) cases, with an emphasis on wage and hour disputes. Manage wage and hour class action and PAGA litigation from inception through resolution. Conduct discovery, including depositions, interrogatories, and document review. Draft and argue motions, including dispositive and procedural motions. Prepare for and participate in trial proceedings when necessary. Stay current on labor and employment laws, conducting legal research to provide informed counsel. Develop legal strategies tailored to each cases unique circumstances. Build and maintain strong client relationships to understand business needs and provide effective legal solutions. Negotiate settlements and agreements to resolve disputes in a timely and effective manner. Requirements
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and legal teams. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience in civil litigation is preferred; candidates willing to develop expertise in wage and hour law will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications
Active member of the California State Bar. Skills
