Role and Responsibilities 

The Catering cook is part of a high-volume food prep production team. The Cook is responsible for preparing all foods that are sold at our retail locations. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in preparing and presenting high-quality meals, menu execution, food safety standards, time management, and working in fast-paced, high-volume environments.

  • Working at our commissary, in the Bronx, under the guidance and direction of the Catering Supervisor, you will be responsible for the preparation and assembly of all catering orders.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, teamwork, and dependability completing all the assigned tasks in the Catering Department.
  • Under the supervision of the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for the preparation of all foods being produced for our retail operations throughout New York City and the Hamptons.

Qualifications and Education Requirements 

  • Demonstrate a high level of creativity and possess an understanding of every facet of gourmet catering preparation.
  • Demonstrated work experience and creativity with a range of foods in a wide array of circumstances.
  • Acquired the capability to read and follow instructions from the executive chef and catering supervisor.
  • Recognized the ability to work with individuals and teams of diverse backgrounds as a member of a team.
  • Be able to produce large quantities of food and have the flexibility to adapt to change.
