**Job Title: Radiologic Technologist**
**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist responsible for performing a variety of standardized radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations. This role includes equipment operation, patient care, and maintenance of related records in a clinical environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Perform standardized radiological and fluoroscopic examinations while ensuring proper patient positioning, identification, and exposure techniques.
- Operate all equipment within the radiology modality effectively and safely.
- Set up and adjust immobilization and radiation protective equipment and devices as required for each examination.
- Review and analyze patient characteristics, including body size, thickness, age, physical condition, and suspected pathology, to perform examinations accurately.
- Assist physicians in various procedures as necessary.
- Report any equipment malfunctions and the need for adjustments or repairs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and notations related to patient examinations and procedures.
- Participate in Quality Assurance/Quality Control procedures as assigned.
- Engage in the educational training of students and new staff members.
**Qualifications:**
- Education: Graduate from an accredited Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology.
- Experience: Relevant clinical experience in radiology.
- Certification: Must obtain certification as a Radiology Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 24 months of employment.
**Skills:**
- Excellent communication and organizing skills.
- Strong preceptor skills and ability to mentor students or new staff members.
- Proficient in radiology procedures and safety protocols.
