You will be supporting the MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) facility. You will ensure that the day-to-day supply chain management activities such as placing purchase orders and managing suppliers ensuring they execute on quality and on-time delivery at cost to meet our financial goal. You will interact with multiple programs, departments and both domestic and international suppliers. In addition, you will play a key role in developing and managing the supplier relationship.Primary Responsibilities: Buyer Associate•Coordinate the procurement cycle from purchase request to payment of invoice•Identify, evaluate and setup new suppliers•Evaluate supplier quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliers•Align supplier schedules with facility needs•Obtain schedule and delivery confirmations from suppliers•Status purchase orders•Coordinate material needs, expedites, updates and change orders with suppliers•Monitor supplier delivery and quality performance•Conduct Supply Market Analysis•Ensure parts documentation is clear, accurate, and organized•Support strategic projects in support of facility/company goals•Create and present metrics and supporting reports to suppliers, peers, and managers•Able to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally when circumstances require•Performs other duties as requiredPreferred Qualifications: Buyer Associate•Knowledge of ERP system•Knowledge of purchasing process•Ability to negotiate, troubleshoot and problem solve•Ability to work in a team environment and work effectively with all levels of internal and external customers•Ability to work under pressure and within time constraints•Self-directed and action-oriented with the ability to work with minimal supervision•Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, and other PPE as needed•Able to communicate and presenting precise information to internal/external customers and leadership•Continuous Improvement process knowledge•Able read, write, speak & understand the English language75125EEO Statement Apollo Professional Solutions, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
