We are hiring a Senior Java Developer to join our team in Milwaukee (4 days/week)!
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications deployed on AWS.
Build scalable, resilient, and secure cloud-native solutions using AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, ECS, and CloudFormation.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including DevOps, QA, and Product Owners to deliver high-quality software.
Write and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot and related frameworks.
Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and Git.
Monitor, debug, and optimize application performance using AWS CloudWatch and other observability tools.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, backlog grooming, and peer code reviews.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Hands-on experience in Java development (Java SE/EE).
Strong experience with Spring Boot, Hibernate, and RESTful services.
Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, CloudFormation, and ECS (or similar cloud technologies).
This position is hybrid (4 days/week)!
Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $58.00/hr.
