The Frank G. Zarb School of Business is inviting applications for an anticipated tenure-track faculty position in Management beginning in the fall of 2026.

Applicants will be considered as an Assistant or an Associate Professor. Rank is dependent upon the applicant’s teaching experience and publication record. We are seeking a candidate whose primary area of teaching and research is Human Resources Management. An ideal candidate would also have the ability and desire to teach a variety of management courses beyond HRM. Hofstra University emphasizes excellence in teaching. Candidates will be expected to teach graduate and undergraduate management courses in the classroom and online. In addition, candidates must have a commitment to research which leads to high quality, peer-reviewed publications. The university provides excellent support for faculty teaching and research, including access to several research databases. The Zarb School has recently established sophisticated research and teaching oriented laboratories to support behavioral research (https://www.hofstra.edu/behavioral-research-lab/), core skills using AI and VR technologies (https://www.hofstra.edu/business/core-skills-lab.html), and the IdeaHub (https://www.hofstra.edu/entrepreneurship/ideahub.html). Service to the university and the profession is also expected.

Qualifications:

Ph.D. or D.B.A. with specialization in Management and/or related disciplines from an AACSB-accredited business program required. ABDs in advanced dissertation stages will be considered for a non-tenure track appointment. Tenure-track status requires a degree in-hand by August 2026.
