Job Description: Systems Operations Project Manager Location: Onsite at either Menlo Park, New York, or Seattle Duration: 3+ months Description: GOSystems is responsible for tooling and system needs impacting operational partners within Meta's Global Operations Team. We seek a seasoned Systems Project Manager with experience working directly with engineers on building and launching software products from inception to deployment, managing front-end and back-end software, database requirements, and collaborating with diverse stakeholders or cross-functional partners. Experience with designing and implementing scaled review workflows (e.g., content review) and networked tooling systems is highly desirable. Responsibilities: Coordinate projects, develop detailed plans to achieve goals, and oversee the launch, testing, implementation, or iteration of technical activities supporting tooling, systems, and operations. Present proposals, reports, and findings to clients clearly and effectively. Author and maintain technical documentation for system tools, including troubleshooting procedures. Collaborate with Systems Program Managers (SPM) across multiple programs to support business needs. Identify opportunities to streamline, optimize, and standardize existing processes. Develop standards and apply them to track, monitor, report, resolve, or escalate issues. Manage, develop, and train the larger team on new processes. Ensure all processes used by the global team are thoroughly documented and regularly improved. Conduct, analyze, and share results from service and operational performance reviews. Coordinate and manage all relevant stakeholders, including support desk teams, customers, and other involved teams. Interpret user problems systematically, identify solutions, and assess potential side effects. Consult or negotiate with clients to prepare project specifications. Minimum Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in operations within a tech company, consulting, or related roles. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Strong leadership and mentoring skills to support and provide constructive feedback. Deep knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing efficiency in launch and production. Understanding of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and the software development lifecycle. Ability to view systems both narrowly and broadly to understand the implications of changes. Ability to interpret operational requirements into technical needs. Proficiency with computer software such as SQL, Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides), Visio, Lucid Charts, etc. Some knowledge of programming languages such as Python, C++, or JavaScript is strongly preferred. Education/Experience: Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field. PMI or PMP certification.
