We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented
UX / UI Designer
to join a collaborative team supporting federal clients. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience designing intuitive, user-friendly digital experiences and eager to contribute to every stage of the product design process, from research and ideation to high-fidelity mockups and prototyping. Location & Schedule
This is a
hybrid position based in Washington, D.C.
Candidates in the surrounding area are welcome to apply but must be willing to commute as needed. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week). Key Responsibilities
Translate product requirements into wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes. Conduct user research, usability testing, and stakeholder interviews to inform design decisions. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and other designers to ensure a seamless and accessible user experience. Apply consistent design standards and contribute to the evolution of the design system. Iterate on designs based on feedback and data to continuously improve the user experience. Stay up to date with UI / UX trends, techniques, and technologies. Requirements
+ years of professional experience in UX / UI design working in Agile federal IT environments. Strong portfolio showcasing user-centered design solutions across web and/or mobile platforms. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar. Solid understanding of design principles, interaction design, and responsive design. Experience conducting user research and translating insights into actionable improvements. Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS) is a plus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. What We Offer
