Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, systems architecture, or related discipline from an accredited institution.
Minimum of 10+ years of senior-level network architecture or engineering experience supporting DoD or joint commands.
At start date, must possess one or more of the following certifications in ACTIVE status:
CCNP (Routing and Switching) or CCDP (Design)
CAP – Certified Authorization Professional
SecurityX - Formerly known as CASP+CE
CISM – Certified Information Security Manager
CISSP – Certified Information Systems Security Professional (or Associate)
GSLC – GIAC Security Leadership certification
Proven track record of designing and implanting secure, scalable DoD enterprise networks (classified and unclassified).
Expertise with network architecture, firewall policy, routing protocols, QoS, Cloud-enablement strategies, and cross-domain solutions.
Deep knowledge of DoD architecture frameworks, RMF, and PACAF-specific mission demands.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), outstanding customer service, team building, and consensus-building abilities.
Self-motivated with ability to stay focused, organized, and plan work independently or collaboratively in a rapidly changing environment.
Analytical mindset with attention to detail, accuracy, and consistent follow-through.
Proven ability to:
Exercise discretion and independent judgment when handling situational occurrences.
Provide technical support across secure and non-secure networks.
Work with senior leaders in a Joint Operations Center, demonstrating polished technical skills and a professional mindset.
