About the role We're seeking a Product Marketing Director to lead our product narrative, growth content strategy, and go-to-market execution. This senior, cross-functional role sits at the intersection of product, marketing, sales, and partnerships. You will define and drive our platform's strategic positioning, ensure product adoption and revenue growth, and lead storytelling efforts to fuel demand, conversion, and category leadership. You will own four core pillars: Organic Growth & Content Strategy Core Product Marketing & Enablement Sales Enablement & Support Design Enablement & Creative Direction This high-impact, hands-on role offers visibility across the executive team, working closely with the co-founder and CEO. You will shape how the world perceives Abacum and how we grow. What You'll Own1. Core Product Marketing & GTM Execution
Lead product positioning and messaging across use cases, personas, and verticals. Continuously refine our ICP and value propositions. Build and scale go-to-market plans for product launches in collaboration with Product, Design, Customer Success, and Sales. Drive competitive intelligence, owning battlecards and tracking feature releases and GTM motions from competitors, translating insights for Sales, Partnerships, Product, and Leadership. 2. Organic Growth & Thought Leadership
Define content and campaign architecture: umbrella topics, themes, and narratives to support paid media, SEO, social, website, and lifecycle campaigns. Shape organic content strategy to increase awareness, traffic, and conversions among key buyer personas. Create and contribute to thought leadership content, including blog posts, website content, and GTM strategies. 3. Sales and Partner Enablement & Support
Equip sales and partner teams with messaging frameworks, value narratives, objection-handling guides, and persona-based storytelling. Create and deliver training sessions that are actionable and trackable. Develop assets for outbound campaigns tied to product launches and campaigns. Conduct win/loss analysis to refine messaging and identify gaps in enablement or product features. 4. Creative Enablement & Design Collaboration
Partner with Design and Brand teams to define creative direction, asset needs, and visuals. Provide content inputs and structure for marketing and product collateral (landing pages, videos, demos, one-pagers). What You'll Support (But Not Own) Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders on: Newsletters and lifecycle communications Events and webinars Strategic video production Market research and analysis Founders' social thought leadership (e.g., LinkedIn) Deep-dive ICP and messaging sprints What You Bring
8+ years of marketing experience, including at least 4 years in product marketing and 2+ years in a leadership or strategic role. Experience in B2B SaaS, ideally with knowledge of the FP&A space. Strategic and hands-on: comfortable setting narratives and creating content like landing pages or sales decks. Detail-oriented, proactive, and action-biased. Curious and eager to learn about new personas, products, and markets. Excellent writing and communication skills, translating complexity into clear, customer-first messaging. Strong collaboration skills across teams. Bonus: familiarity with tools like Notion, Figma, Webflow, Lusha, and Apollo. Why Abacum
