Position Summary
The Report Developer provides data analysis and reporting support to business users within Access Community Health Network. This role works with specifications from both internal and external users to help clarify their data requests and reporting needs and to facilitate the use of Epic analytics tools (Clarity, Reporting Workbench, Radar dashboards, SlicerDicer, Caboodle, etc.) and Microsoft analytics tools (Power BI, internal data warehouse) to meet those needs.
Core Job Responsibilities
Develop detailed query design specifications and use them to document and guide development of data extracts, reports, and visualizations.
Generate data and translate it into meaningful information via report, presentation, and visualization formats.
Design, develop, test, and maintain reports, data extracts, and distribution.
Design, develop, test, and maintain changes, upgrades, and fixes to reports using appropriate report development technology (Power BI Report Server, Epic tools) and authoring efficient T-SQL queries in Microsoft SQL Server.
Research, coordinate, and complete special projects as necessary.
Ensure all reports and data extracts have up-to-date, detailed documentation, adhering to established standards and repository guidelines.
Maintain and adhere to a set of best practices procedures, following ACCESS IS policies and procedures.
Use data warehouse architecture design for self-service reporting and visualization tools.
Work with ACCESS report users and application analysts to determine reporting requirements based on business needs.
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Preferences
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration along with one year of experience in Business Intelligence and Analytics and two years of experience with Microsoft Power BI Report Server (including table creation, views, stored procedures, and population isolation techniques),
or
five years of analytic work experience in healthcare, including one year in Business Intelligence and Analytics and two years with Microsoft Power BI Report Server . Epic certifications in assigned applications preferred. Working knowledge of healthcare IT systems and experience in healthcare data informatics preferred. Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Report Server, and other data visualization tools preferred. ACCESS is a Network of Federally Qualified Health Centers treating patients on the frontlines of community-based health care. Depending on positionapplied/being recruited for, candidates may be required to be vaccinated against communicable diseases and provide supporting documentation proving that they are properly vaccinated,or apply forreligious and/or medicalvaccination exemption as a part of theapplicationprocess. The pay ranges provided represent the minimum to mid-range for positions. Actual compensation will be determined based on a combination of factors including years of experience, educational background, market conditions, and available grant funding.
