School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy Clinical Psychology Department, Pasadena, CA Tenure-Track Neuropsychology Faculty Position Graduate School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy Fuller Theological Seminary Position Profile Position Description Fuller Graduate School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy (SoPMFT) is looking for a full- or part-time tenure-track Neuropsychologist. The position is for a Research Neuropsychologist and/or a licensed (or license eligible) Clinical Neuropsychologist (Board certification is preferred), at the Assistant or Associate level. This person will continue to lead and innovate in the established Neuropsychology Track. Responsibilities will involve teaching graduate level neuropsychology courses and mentoring doctoral student research in clinical neuropsychology. Clinical opportunities for a part-time practice in neuropsych assessment are possible at the school's clinic, Fuller Psychological and Family Services, but would be considered elsewhere in contract negotiations. This faculty appointment will be in the Department of Clinical Psychology, which is located in Pasadena, CA. Fuller’s Clinical Psychology department offers two degrees: a PhD in clinical psychology (consistent with the scientist-practitioner training model) and a PsyD in clinical psychology (consistent with the practitioner-scholar training model). Both programs are designed to prepare graduates for careers and leadership positions in areas such as academia, private practice, hospitals, and community health clinics, and applied research. The program offers students two optional tracks: the Neuropsychology Track and the Culture and Community Track. The successful candidate will be a full-time faculty member in the School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy. Fuller Theological Seminary, encompassing the School of Mission and Theology and the School of Psychology & Marriage and Family Therapy, is a multidenominational, international, and multiethnic community dedicated to providing indispensable formational education for diverse Christian leaders everywhere. The successful candidate will offer core and elective courses in the PhD and PsyD in Clinical Psychology programs and mentor doctoral student research. Proven record of research and publication, with ongoing research plans in the area of neuropsychology. Personal, academic, and professional development to effectively serve the culturally, ethnically, racially, and theologically diverse student body of the seminary. Commitment to thinking theologically/psychologically about teaching and practicing in ways that speak to established and emerging cultures in the 21st century. Tenure-track, initial three-year appointment. Rank dependent on qualifications and experience. Contract includes the equivalent of 5 courses and doctoral mentorship. Eligible to apply for Sabbatical.
