We are seeking a skilled Web Application Developer to design and build dynamic web applications supporting IT projects, with a focus on security, scalability, and resilience. This role involves developing user-friendly interfaces, enhancing system functionalities, and supporting organizational goals in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities
Design and develop websites and web applications using various graphics, development tools, and programming techniques. Enhance user interfaces, site animations, and effects to improve engagement. Collaborate with design teams to refine online presence. Develop web solutions aligned with communication strategies and organizational goals. Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile responsiveness, and accessibility standards. Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications. Stay updated on emerging web technologies and best practices. Required Qualifications
Strong understanding of web technologies and frameworks. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end libraries like React or Angular. Experience with design software such as Photoshop or Illustrator. Knowledge of back-end technologies (Node.js, Python, PHP) and databases (SQL, NoSQL) is a plus. Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving skills and teamwork ability. Education & Experience
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or related field. 2+ years of relevant experience. Location & Travel
Must be local to the Washington, DC area for on-site work. Security Clearance
