Responsibilities:
Developing, testing, and debugging software, components, tools, and utilities required for the operation, maintenance, and control of computer systems. Involved in the analysis, design, and development of computer systems. Exercise considerable latitude in determining technical objectives of complex components/large projects. Develop technical solutions to moderately complex problems requiring ingenuity and creativity. Contribute to the completion of specific programs and projects where failure to achieve results may result in delays and expenses. Work 40 hours per week onsite with the possibility of overtime. Convert multiple platforms comprised of COM exe's and dll's to modern architectures such as .NET or .NET Core, implementing best practices. Involves understanding of computer science or engineering principles, including operating systems, databases, compilers, networks, algorithms, and internet tools. Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in IT/Engineering or relevant experience. Experience:
At least 5 years of experience with .NET Framework or .NET Core. Required Skills:
.NET Framework/NET Core application development C#, Visual Studio.NET, ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET, SQL Server, MVC, SSIS Familiarity with client/server RDMS systems Experience with UX/UI design and development Highly Desired Skills:
Database technology and SQL proficiency Familiarity with Git and Azure DevOps/GitLab Experience with WPF, MAUI, Win UI, or Blazor Additional Skills and Experience:
Web application development (front and back end) Windows system troubleshooting Data access with Entity Framework or Dapper Developing applications with Windows Presentation Foundation Performance troubleshooting and tuning Soft Skills:
