Job Opportunity: Pediatric Hospitalist

Join our dedicated Pediatric Hospital Medicine service in a community hospital setting in Pocatello, Idaho. This 205-bed facility is a regional referral center and a Level II Trauma center equipped with a 2-bed Pediatric ICU, a 6-bed Pediatric unit, and a 16-bed Level III Neonatal ICU. Servicing a growing community, we handle approximately 1,200 deliveries per year, providing an excellent environment for professional growth and advancement. We're committed to providing quality care and are offering a collaborative atmosphere for our physicians. Job Responsibilities:
* Caring for medical patients in the Pediatric Unit. * Consulting pediatric patients in the emergency department and surgical patients. * 7 on 7 off schedule with the ability to round in the hospital while on call from home. * Opportunity to develop a sedation program. * Collaboration with a sister program located 30 minutes away for consultation and support. * Participate in an educational faculty appointment with the Idaho College of Osteopathic Medicine. * Not accepting Locums candidates; J1 visa candidates are welcome.
Qualifications:
* Board Certified in Pediatrics REQUIRED * Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine PREFERRED * ID license or IMLC compact-eligible (or willing to obtain) REQUIRED * DEA must be obtained prior to start (no exemptions) * CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start (no exemptions)
License and Certification Requirements:
* Board Certification in Pediatrics is mandatory. * Active Idaho state medical license or eligible for compact license. * DEA and CSR/CDS registration prior to start date.
