The Opportunity

We are seeking a strategic, data-driven, and experiment-minded Director, CRM. This individual has a deep expertise in CRM, performance reporting, attribution models, personalization, customer segmentation, retention, data accessibility and activation, marketing technology, and rapid experimentation. The ideal candidate is a natural connector that collaborates across functions, a creative thinker, and a hands-on executor who thrives in fast-paced environments.

  • Own and execute our CRM strategy as we transition towards data-driven, personalized customer experiences/journeys.
  • Optimize automated customer journeys to maximize engagement and retention including streamlining marketing-sales workflows
  • Develop segmentation models and dynamic content strategies to enhance personalization at scale.
  • Responsible for driving subscriber growth and retention including campaign work for promotional and product launches.
  • Continuously experiment with new CRM tactics, messaging, and automation techniques to improve engagement and conversion.

Technical CRM Implementation & Optimization

  • Collaborate with engineering and analytics teams to enhance CRM capabilities and automation workflows.
  • Ensure best-in-class data hygiene, tracking, and analytics, with a strong understanding of marketing attribution models to measure campaign impact across multiple channels.

Performance & Continuous Optimization

  • Define key CRM KPIs and implement A/B testing and iterative experimentation to improve campaign effectiveness.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine automated lead nurturing, conversion, and retention campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of CRM/AI trends and emerging technologies in the Gen-Z space, proactively testing new approaches to enhance effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years in CRM, lifecycle marketing, or marketing automation.
  • Experience in Iterable, Salesforce, Hightouch and Tableau is strongly preferred, but not required.
  • Deep understanding of marketing attribution and tracking methodologies to optimize campaign measurement.
  • Highly analytical, ideally with SQL proficiency, for campaign analysis and optimization.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills to align CRM with business and product objectives.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable making decisions and thrives in a fast-moving environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Deep understanding of Gen Z customer behavior, needs, and preferences.
