Job Summary:
Doximity is transforming the healthcare industry, aiming to help physicians be more productive and provide better care for their patients. The Software Engineer, Full Stack (Ruby/Rails) will build and enhance features for medical content engagement, drive technical improvements, and contribute to a culture of technical excellence within a cross-functional team.
Responsibilities:
• Shape the way physicians engage with and consume medical content by building and enhancing features that deliver timely, relevant updates.
• Drive technical improvements across the stack (Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, GraphQL, MySQL, AWS), ensuring the News products are robust, scalable, and high-performing.
• Work within a cross-functional team to translate product vision into practical, user-focused solutions that improve the overall platform experience.
• Continuously iterate on existing features, leveraging analytics and user feedback to optimize for engagement, usability, and reliability.
• Contribute to a culture of technical excellence by sharing knowledge, participating in code reviews, and supporting team growth.
• Proactively identify and resolve complex issues, ensuring the Doximity remains a trusted and reliable resource for physicians.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Experience building products using the Ruby on Rails framework.
• Comfortable working in Ruby and Rails.
• Ability to work independently and focus on the delivery of functional solutions.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working with small product and engineering teams to build production software.
• Ability to drive technical improvements across the stack (Ruby on Rails, Vue.js, GraphQL, MySQL, AWS).
• Experience translating product vision into practical, user-focused solutions.
• Ability to iterate on existing features using analytics and user feedback.
• Experience contributing to a culture of technical excellence by sharing knowledge and participating in code reviews.
• Ability to proactively identify and resolve complex issues.
