Established Consumer Goods Distributor firm seeks a Sales Manager to lead their team!

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company revenue and growth goals.
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to maximize performance.
• Identify new business opportunities and cultivate relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to stay ahead of the market.
• Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with business objectives.
• Prepare and present sales forecasts, reports, and performance metrics to senior leadership.
• Manage key accounts and ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
• Oversee contract negotiations and pricing strategies.
• Recruit, train, and develop top-performing sales talent.
• Regularly communicate with EVP of Sales and accounting departments on all sales and A/R information
• Responsible for providing to management reporting and billings for all regions

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• 5+ years of Sales / Ops experience in distribution or retail environment
• Demonstrated experience working in Consumer Packaged Goods industry with retailers and vendors
• Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience managing high-performing sales teams.
• Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in CRM systems and sales analytics tools.
