ICU Travel Nurse Job Details Location: Yuma, Arizona (85364) - Arizona nursing jobs Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Unit: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Start Date: October 20, 2025 End Date: January 19, 2026 Duration: 13-week contract Shift: 12-hour days (06:45 - 19:15) Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,990-$2,130 Self-scheduling: Available (no blocked scheduling) Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 4-week period Holiday Requirement: Work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) ICU Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience Proficiency with Epic EMR (experience within the last two years required) Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Experience with ventilators, sedation, sepsis, pressors, DKA, cardiac, CHF, and respiratory cases Ability to titrate a wide variety of critical care drips Willingness to float to other hospital units as needed Must comply with a 100-mile radius rule No more than 5 days of requested time off during the assignment ICU Nurse Responsibilities Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 42-bed Intensive Care Unit Manage nurse-patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2 (or 1:3 for less acute cases) Titrate and administer critical care drips, including vasopressors, inotropes, antiarrhythmics, sedatives, paralytics, analgesics, and anticoagulants Collaborate with intensivists, hospitalists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals Document patient care using Epic EMR Participate in rapid response and code situations as needed Float to other units when required, maintaining safe patient ratios Adhere to hospital policies, including clocking out for lunch and following scrub color requirements (navy blue) Apply now to join our healthcare team as a travel ICU Registered Nurse in Yuma, Arizona, and make a difference in critical care nursing!
