**Job Description:**
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) with a strong background in Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) nursing to join our dynamic healthcare team. The successful candidate will possess a valid active RN license in good standing within the state of employment and will bring at least 2+ years of NICU-specific experience in a Level II, III, or IV NICU.
**Qualifications:**
- Current, valid, and actively maintained RN license in the state of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through AHA or equivalent is required.
- Candidates should possess either Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) or Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; both certifications are preferred.
- Preferred experience includes NICU, Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and/or comparable nursing environments.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR), specifically Meditech.
- Dress Code: Navy blue pants, with printed tops allowed if they are pediatric themed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill newborns in the NICU.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes.
- Educate families on care plans and discharge instructions.
