This role requires a dynamic individual who is flexible to rotate between day and night shifts every other week, including working every other weekend and potentially mid-week rotations. **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide high-quality vascular access care, including assessment and management of PICC lines, peripheral IVs, and ports. - Conduct dressing changes, troubleshoot problems with PIVs and PICC lines, and administer TPA as needed. - Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to address and fill critical vacancies and patient needs. - Complete all required documentation and maintain compliance with facility protocols. - Be prepared to float and assist with peripheral IV placements, blood draws, and other related tasks. **Qualifications:** - Current BLS certification is required. - A minimum of 2 years of experience in a specialized nursing role, such as Emergency Room (ER) or infusion nursing, is preferred. - Strong IV skills and experience with large trauma level 1 facilities within the past year are essential. - Epic experience within the last 2 years is mandatory; please include any certifications, especially for PICC line placement, if applicable. - Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to work holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day. - Ability to explain any employment gaps over 90 days. **Additional Information:** - Reliable transportation is required, as public transportation is not available in the area. - All-season or snow tires are recommended from November to April.
