- New hospital leadership investing in improving physician and patient experiences
- Change in hospitalist coverage with dedicated rounding and admitting shifts to maximize efficiency and work-life balance
- Level 1 Trauma Center, 590 beds
- 7 on; 7 off scheduling for full-time
- Staffing Model:
- 7am-7pm: 6 physicians - 5 rounding and 1 admitter, 3 NPPAs rounding
- 5pm-5am: 1 NPPA cross coverage
- 7pm-7am: 1 physician Nocturnist
- 7on / 7off schedule for Full Time
- Open ICU with Intensivist on site 24/7
- Critical Care Program managed by SCP Health
- No procedures required
- Paid malpractice with unlimited tail coverage
- EMR: Meditech
Qualifications
- Physicians must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
- AGACNP certification required for NPs
- NPs and PAs must have at least 1 year of HM experience
