Job Details

  • New hospital leadership investing in improving physician and patient experiences
  • Change in hospitalist coverage with dedicated rounding and admitting shifts to maximize efficiency and work-life balance
  • Level 1 Trauma Center, 590 beds
  • 7 on; 7 off scheduling for full-time
  • Staffing Model:
    • 7am-7pm: 6 physicians - 5 rounding and 1 admitter, 3 NPPAs rounding
    • 5pm-5am: 1 NPPA cross coverage
    • 7pm-7am: 1 physician Nocturnist
  • 7on / 7off schedule for Full Time
  • Open ICU with Intensivist on site 24/7
  • Critical Care Program managed by SCP Health
  • No procedures required
  • Paid malpractice with unlimited tail coverage
  • EMR: Meditech

Qualifications

  • Physicians must be Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine
  • AGACNP certification required for NPs
  • NPs and PAs must have at least 1 year of HM experience

Research Medical Center, a 590-bed hospital located at 2316 East Meyer Boulevard in Kansas City, Missouri, is one of the region's leading acute-care hospitals.
