As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage production location, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment for employees, visitors, and assets. Your responsibilities will include monitoring entry and exit points, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. By remaining visible and approachable, you will help to deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service to everyone on site. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $13.90 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Mon 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Fri 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sat 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM Sun 08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You'll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a food and beverage production environment. Monitor and control access to the location, verifying credentials and authorizations for entry and exit to help to deter unauthorized access. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for the food and beverage industry. Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter potential security-related concerns and identify any unusual activity. Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or concerns according to site-specific procedures. Collaborate with site personnel and Allied Universal management to address security-related needs and support a secure environment for staff and visitors. What We're Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
