Chemistry Lab Technician
As a Chemistry Lab Technician, you will perform chemical synthesis and reactions to create specific chemical products and formulas. You will follow precise chemical processes to ensure the correct reactions occur and use specific testing methods to determine product quality. Daily preparation of raw materials and lab equipment setup is required, adhering to strict safety protocols. Responsibilities
Perform chemical synthesis and reactions to produce specific chemical products and formulas. Follow detailed chemistry processes to execute the correct reactions. Utilize specific testing methods to assess product quality. Prepare raw materials and set up laboratory equipment daily to support accurate reactions. Adhere to strict safety protocols during all chemical synthesis activities. Essential Skills
Chemistry, particularly in a laboratory setting. Experience with chemical synthesis and facilitating chemical reactions. Proficiency in wet chemistry and synthesis chemistry techniques. Additional Skills & Qualifications
Willingness to train alongside the owner to learn chemical synthesis processes. Potential to take over the company upon the owner's retirement. Work Environment
Work in a chemistry lab and work area to perform chemical synthesis. This position offers a 1st shift, Monday through Friday schedule with flexibility. Initially, candidates will start working part-time, with the opportunity to transition to a full-time role as they demonstrate their capabilities. Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
