At Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center, the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse (RN) delivers safe, high-quality care to surgical patients. What You Will Do: Provide intraoperative care by performing circulating and/or scrub duties, including patient positioning, site prep, instrumentation, and sterile technique. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure efficient, coordinated care throughout procedures. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited nursing program with an Associate's degree in Nursing required Valid RN license in Connecticut Preferred: Bachelor's in Nursing Ideal candidates will have Intraoperative Operating Room (OR) experience, particularly in Cardiovascular or Main Operating Room procedures, including circulating and/or scrub roles. Current BLS/CPR (AHA or Red Cross) Familiarity with AORN standards Important Consideration: This role is not designed for new graduates or those seeking training through the Periop 101 program. Candidates must be able to function independently in the OR. Position Highlights: Full-Time: 40 hrs/week
