Location: Russellville, AR Pay Rate: $31.00 Days, $32.00 Nights ($1.00 hr shift differential) Hours: 2/2/3 Schedule Days 7:40am-8:00pm Nights 7:40pm-8:00am Sign-on Bonus: $3,000 to be paid out as follows $1,000 at 90 Days $2,000 at 180 Day Purpose of the Job: This position is part of the Russellville Foam Plant Operations Team and plays a role in improving overall reliability and performance of manufacturing and infrastructure equipment. This opportunity is critical to the performance and continued growth of the Russellville Foam Plant. Job Responsibilities: Develop and maintain a working knowledge of the process, process equipment, controls, and spare parts. Develop troubleshooting skills and techniques for the equipment and controls. Perform routine and nonroutine industrial maintenance tasks. Utilize our computer maintenance management system (SAP) to maintain and enter documentation from all work orders. Learn and comply with all Owens Corning safety policies along with all other plant rules. Maintain a clean, orderly work area that follows 5S standards. Ability to routinely lift up to 50 lbs. without assistance. Work up to 12 hours in hot/cold manufacturing environment. Walk/stand on concrete floor continuously for up to 12 hours. Safeguard self with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - steel-toed shoes, eye protection (glasses, goggles, and/or facemask) hearing protection and long-sleeved shirt (with shirt tail tucked in) as necessary for tasks. Maintain high level of attendance. All other duties as assigned or needed. Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Preferred Experience: Experience in 5+ years experience in an industrial maintenance position Schooling and certifications in maintenance/electronics related field Willingness-to-learn-more attitude through developed work habits, machine instruction booklets, self-taught skills courses, and outside educational programs Industrial mechanical experience and knowledge (bearings, gearboxes, conveyors, chain drives, etc.) Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Above average troubleshooting of mechanical equipment in an industrial environment Understanding, experience, and troubleshooting capabilities with industrial electrical Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude in an industrial environment Ability to travel as needed. Travel will be heavier during start up as visit other OC plants to learn the business.
