The Product team at Valon is focused on designing and scaling a next-generation platform that delivers an exceptional experience for homeowners while enabling operational excellence for our servicing teams. We work at the intersection of regulation, finance, and technologybalancing the need for compliance and controls with the opportunity to build delightfully simple, transparent tools for consumers. We're looking for a Director of Product Management to lead the vision, strategy, and execution for Valon's consumer-facing product portfolio. Valon has a relationship with our users around homeownership and more generally over financial wellbeing. Mortgage servicing provides structural advantages for providing new products (often financial, often commodity) with cost, conversion, and marketing advantages. Even better, we are usually saving people money. This includes growing our substantial lending business (including working up funnel to education and engagement pre-lending, building new vertical segments like debt consolidation), partnering with our nascent insurance business (focused on property insurance today but with broad opportunities and tail-winds), building our mobile apps, and launching new 0 to 1 consumer products for millions

We're looking for a seasoned product leader who has worked on complex consumer SaaS products (ideally in a highly regulated domain such as Fintech) to take Valon's nascent consumer vertical from 0 to 1. Although mortgage servicing is our bread and butter, we believe consumer will be a critical growth lever for the business in the coming years and this hire will be key to shaping that strategy. In the long-run consumer has the potential to be our largest business with mortgage servicing software providing proprietary access to consumers. This role requires a growth-centric approach, driving a large cross-functional team, clear consumer insights, and the ambition to build a new multi-billion dollar business. Key Responsibilities
Create our consumer strategy, the roadmap, partnerships, and how to shape, phase, and distribute via our Mortgage Servicing SaaS product Grow our core consumer business: lending, execution and strategy of a large and growing business that is core to mortgage servicing, continue building the best-in-class team and business through software plus insight, experimentation, and iteration to our products, marketing, sales, and operations Lead and grow a high-performing team of product managers, setting clear priorities, fostering a culture of innovation, and ensuring exceptional execution Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, BizOps, and operations to ship impactful products at scale Develop deep empathy for our users, conducting research and using data to continuously improve product usability, engagement, and satisfaction as well as invest in building new 0 to 1 products Ideal Background
7+ years of product management experience, with at least 3+ years leading and scaling product teams Demonstrated success delivering high-complexity b2c products at scale, ideally in fintech or other complex markets A strong track record of execution, hitting deadlines, and making customers happy Proven ability to drive alignment across engineering, design, and business stakeholders Strong product team building skills, hiring and retaining top performers Strength in data-driven product building/growth Experience in regulated industries (e.g., finance, healthcare, insurance) is a plus but not required What We Offer
