$25-$30/hr Summary:

PrideStaff Financial is partnering with a leading digital solutions company to find an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team. You will be responsible for both accounts payable and receivable along with all payroll and bank account management and reconciliation tasks. You will be responsible for recording financial data into QuickBooks, and providing the leadership team with income statements and balance sheets monthly, forecasting and projections and providing accountants with year end closing statements. Duties and Responsibilities: Finance Accounts Payable: Submit payment to vendors, scan and upload invoices, receipts to Sharepoint Accounts Receivable: Deposit customer checks, email copy of check / deposit slip to finance Month End Closing: Assist finance with journal entries, accruals Bank Statements: Categorize expenses and attach receipts for each expense Out-of-Pocket / Mileage Expense Reports: Review reports / receipts and submit to finance manager for reimbursement through payroll Payroll: Update semi-monthly spreadsheet, enter payroll into Paychex, implement additions, changes and assist with payroll issues State Registration: Request tax I.D.'s for state, local tax and unemployment for payroll Workers' Compensation Insurance: Update and manage insurance for new hires Tax Exemption Certificates: Email customers for Tax Exemption Certificates W-9 Forms: Email requests to customers Customer New Supplier Forms: Complete forms for bank, credit reference information Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist operation and finance managers with various projects Administration Procurement of equipment: Process orders for computers, cell phones and various equipment Vendor Accounts: Establish accounts for vendor services State Annual Reports: Complete and submit State Annual Reports Ad-Hoc Projects: Assist operations manager with various projects If you are ready to take on the challenge of this exciting role, please apply now!
