Logistics Coordinator/Returns Specialist

Position: Logistics Coordinator/Returns Specialist Department: Warehouse - Werner Final Mile Location: Bob's Discount Furniture, Portsmouth NH (175 Heritage Ave.) Work Environment: On-site Shift: Tuesday through Saturday, 12n/11am -8pm / Paid every two weeks, W-2. Full time Job Summary: Processes information pertaining to merchandise returned to the warehouse. Scans returns and prints return labels. Examines and compares merchandise with original requisition to record information such as quantity, type of defect and date on invoice or other forms. Enter return information into the computer. Prepare internal Furniture Return Logs and other forms for all returned goods and track all inventory transactions made through the returns process. Physical labor and computer skills to unload returns, scan them, record information about issues and follow up. Responsibilities: Quality Inspection and Documentation Returns Processing and follow-up. Record keeping and reports to guarantee inventory control and security. Assist in physical inventories Perform labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, repacking, and scanning as needed. Become knowledgeable about other areas of the warehouse. Maintain a safe, clean, neat, and orderly work area. Qualifications: Minimum Requirements: Must be 18 years old. Able to perform the essential functions of the job. Pass a pre-employment physical. Experience Preferred: Previous 12 months delivery of furniture or appliances or moving company. Physical Requirements: Seeing and hearing: Read documents, computer screen.
