Contracts Administrator Advisor

This Contracts Administrator Advisor will join our Defense Agencies sector contracts team. This position will focus on supporting the Government Operations business area in developing proposals, program contract activities, and customer engagement. The ideal individual will be experienced in administering complex IT contracts and task orders; have expertise in risk and OCI assessments; have an ability to apply strategic solutions to address business and programmatic risks, as well as identifying and analyzing complex contract matters. This position requires a clear communication style with contractual knowledge and strong business and customer acumen. How a Contracts Administrator Advisor will make an impact: Ensures contractual compliance with relevant terms and conditions and compliance with designated management objectives Work with programs to help identify scope creep and changes Negotiates contracts, including price, terms, and conditions, and reviews subsequent contractual documents for legal sufficiency prior to execution Serves as point of contact with internal departments concerning specific contract questions, issues, and problems Reviews requests for proposals and participates in proposal color reviews Reviews and approves solicited and unsolicited proposals for submission to customers Reviews and negotiates various types of agreements Interprets contractual work requirements and obligations Makes recommendations regarding contract implementation Maintains knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices Participates in special projects as required What you'll need to succeed: Education:
Bachelor's Degree. In lieu of degree, 12+ years of related in Federal Contracts Administration experience required. Required Experience:
8+ years of related Federal Contracts Administration experience Required Technical Skills:
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & PowerPoint) Required Skills and Abilities:
Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as negotiation abilities. Highly experienced with various contract types. Experience supporting award-term contracts. Advanced Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and customer agency supplements. Ability to operate and negotiate independently. Preferred Skills and Abilities:

This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary.
