We are seeking a passionate and talented Regional Capacity Planner to drive capacity planning across multiple AWS regions, ensuring optimal infrastructure utilization and availability. Key responsibilities include: Planning data center capacity for the 0-24-month horizon. Managing rack retirements, migrations, and network requirements. Initiating dedicated spine builds, intercepts, and resizing based on planning values. Resolving blockers related to racks, orders, and position usability. Leading projects to meet power usage targets and perform impact analyses. Collaborating with supply chain and service teams to prioritize rack landings. Presenting mitigation strategies and supply change updates in weekly reviews. About the team:
AWS Infrastructure Services manages the design, planning, delivery, and operation of AWS global infrastructure, supporting data centers, servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling systems. Qualifications: 3+ years of experience in technical infrastructure management. Proficiency in process improvement initiatives using data and metrics. Advanced knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) and SQL. Experience working cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams. Preferred: Experience in end-to-end delivery and communicating results to senior leadership. Stakeholder management skills and process building experience.
