ChampionX is seeking a
Software Engineer

The Software Engineer will work as a full stack developer, collaborating closely with digital team members to understand requirements and develop applications, micro-services, and APIs. What You Will Do: Design and implement full stack features across our technology stack (SQL Server, C#/VB.NET, WPF, WinForms). Develop features in our new technology stack (C#, .NET MVC, REST API, message broker-based microservices). Collaborate with leads on product development and work within an agile scrum team to develop and enhance XSPOC. Develop algorithms modeling physical oilfield systems, optimizing equipment productivity, and communicating with controllers in the field. Partner with engineers to develop code that models, analyzes, and optimizes production equipment. Implement libraries for communication with and control of oilfield equipment. Participate in application development, refactoring, and code improvement. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field. At least four years of professional experience, including three years developing .NET applications. Experience with layered architectures (e.g., MVP, MVC, MVVM). Proficiency in SQL Server or similar relational databases. Experience with Agile Scrum, Pull Requests, Source Control, etc. Strong skills in C# programming. Knowledge of system interfaces using REST API, XML/JSON, HTML/CSS. Experience with Docker containers. Experience with IoT protocols like MQTT, AMQP. Experience with Message Queues such as RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ. Hands-on experience with Angular or React. Experience with RDBMS like SQL Server or Oracle. Experience with DevOps practices. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Motivated to learn new skills and technologies. Preferred Experience: Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB and InfluxDB. Experience developing progressive web applications using React. Experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
