Adventurous Journeys Capital Partners (“AJCP”) is seeking a hands-on Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications to lead and elevate the firm’s communications efforts and support its rapid growth across various investment platforms focused on the hospitality, mixed-use, and single-family rental sectors. ABOUT THE ROLE The Director of Public Relations and Corporate Communications will be responsible for day-to-day media relations, oversee agency partners, guide narrative development, and ensure consistent and timely communications across internal and external stakeholders. WHAT YOU WILL DO Media Relations Build and maintain strong relationships with local and national media contacts Cultivate and manage press across multiple sectors—including lifestyle, F&B, business, etc.—with an ability to craft compelling narratives across verticals Drive a consistent cadence of media coverage aligned with brand goals Proactively secure press opportunities in key markets and top-tier publications PR Reporting & Analysis Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly PR reports Track earned media coverage across local, national, and industry outlets and distribute internally to key stakeholders Collaborate with agency partners to generate campaign recaps Agency & Partner Relationships Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for external PR firms and consultants (tenants, partners, etc.) Coordinate deliverables, press timelines, and approvals across internal teams Track agency scope of work and manage monthly check-ins and reporting Coordinate with partners to co-pitch and execute PR strategies Strategic Communications Work with senior leadership to develop strategic messaging for major launches, transactions, and brand narratives Draft and edit press releases, pitches, bios, media alerts, and briefing documents Launch & Event Support Oversee PR timelines for hotel openings, F&B concepts, and other asset activations Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, design, and development teams Lead logistics for media events, press visits, and influencer stays Leadership & Internal Collaboration Provide counsel to internal executives and stakeholders on media positioning Set clear expectations with internal stakeholders, ensuring follow-through and transparency in all media outreach Prepare executive briefing materials and talking points Work closely with investor relations and marketing on joint communications needs Requirements WHO YOU ARE AJCP is seeking a highly motivated individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced, but disciplined, entrepreneurial environment. The ideal candidate will have experience in driving a strategic PR and communications plan, cultivates strong media relationships, shares a love for storytelling, and demonstrates extreme attention to detail.
