Job Description : We’re looking for a passionate and strategic Senior HR Business Partner who thrives in dynamic environments, loves working with high-performing teams, and is driven to shape inclusive, engaging, and high-impact cultures. In this role, you’ll partner with leaders across Activision Blizzard EMEA and King, giving you the opportunity to influence at scale and contribute meaningfully across our organisation. This is a unique opportunity to support multiple parts of our business. Within King, you’ll partner with Shared Tech, the powerhouse behind our games, delivering engineering, product, AI, and machine learning excellence at scale. You’ll work with some of our most talented engineers and technical leaders to help unlock their full potential. In parallel, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to Activision Blizzard’s Go-to-Market (GTM) team, who lead franchise marketing and communications for our biggest titles. Additionally, you’ll support our Corporate Functions across both Activision Blizzard and King, including Finance, HR, IT, Information Security, and more. This is a highly varied and visible role where you’ll influence people strategies across diverse disciplines, making every day different and impactful. Reporting into the Senior People Director, and as a key member of the People Team, you’ll drive impactful people initiatives that support the company’s strategic goals and foster a culture of excellence. You will co-create and execute business strategies across the end-to-end employee lifecycle, focusing on talent management, organisational effectiveness, employee engagement, and partnering and coaching your stakeholders to embed our culture and values into the employee experience. You will be passionate about all things people, keen to understand the business, and provide pragmatic solutions to everyday challenges. Curious, detail-oriented, data-driven, and employee relations savvy, you will thrive in creating great workplaces, managing comprehensive HR services, and establishing trusted partnerships with the business. You will be a collaborative, influential, and skilled partner capable of navigating a complex matrix organization. You will work closely with Centers of Excellence (CoE) and global HR partners to deliver impactful, results-driven initiatives. To succeed, you must be a people-focused problem solver with exceptional emotional intelligence and integrity. You will bring outstanding attention to detail, a proactive approach, and strong critical thinking skills to drive meaningful outcomes. Your role Establish true partnerships with diverse managers, influence people-related decisions, and be accountable for creating and executing people strategies for your area. Support managers across the business in all people-related processes, including performance management, talent identification, organizational design, employee engagement, communications, and reward processes to attract and retain talent. Apply HR expertise and business acumen to build trusted relationships with leaders, coaching and advising them on people plans, talent needs, and employee relations. Lead talent planning, succession planning, assessments, and similar processes to drive the people strategy with high integrity and quality. Drive organizational development, redesign, change management, and engagement initiatives, including project management and employee communications. Support leaders and teams with workshops, career development sessions, engagement activities, and high-performing team initiatives, demonstrating strong facilitation skills. Collaborate with HR Centers of Expertise (CoE) to resolve complex issues through innovative and agile thinking. Actively promote D&I strategies, identify improvement opportunities, and embed D&I initiatives across HR processes and the employee lifecycle. Champion company values and culture, serving as a role model and supporting their continual reinforcement. Maintain a growth mindset, prioritize personal development, and stay curious about external HR benchmarks and best practices. Utilize data and HR metrics to gain insights, inform talent decisions, workforce planning, and HR strategy development. Lead and manage HR projects and initiatives aligned with broader People Team and organizational goals. Skills & Experience : Proven experience as an HR Business Partner, partnering with leaders at all levels. Ability to build trusted relationships and influence senior stakeholders to drive high-performance teams. Experience operating as a strategic HR partner in dynamic, fast-paced, and possibly global or matrixed environments. Results-oriented with commercial acumen, supporting business goals through effective HR strategies. Change management expertise, capable of leading organizational transformation and strategic thinking. Employee relations expertise, coaching, advising managers, and resolving conflicts effectively. Continuous improvement mindset, facilitating HR processes and training initiatives. Excellent project management skills, managing cyclical HR processes and projects. Data-driven with the ability to interpret HR metrics, tell stories with data, and influence decisions. Strong communication skills, adaptable for diverse organizational levels and audiences. Business fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken. Bonus Points : Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience. Experience in technology, digital entertainment, or similar industries. International experience, especially in HR Business Partnering within a matrix organization across multiple regions. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and HR data systems.
