Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Adult Echocardiography Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 09/01/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Title: Adult Echo Tech Location: Albuquerque, NM ✅ Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week ⏳ Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 10-Hour Day Shifts Essential Duties: Perform all routine echocardiograms independently for evaluation of possible abnormal heart defects or disease (inpatient and outpatient). Learn to perform Stress Echocardiograms and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms under a mentor, and work toward performing these independently. Demonstrate knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathophysiology, and ultrasound principles. Exercise independent judgment during exams to determine the need for additional imaging, enhancements, or bubble studies. Job Summary: Perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasounds (echocardiograms). Produce cardiac images to assess hemodynamics and function, with digital acquisition and accurate measurements. Ensure patient safety by following all procedure protocols and policies. Continue developing technical skills and proficiency as a sonographer, expanding knowledge of advanced procedures and techniques. “We are an equal opportunity employer.
