We are seeking a dedicated Frontline Supervisor for our OPWDD Day Habilitation program. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day operations and provide direct supervision to program staff to ensure quality support for individuals with developmental disabilities. The Frontline Supervisor will help maintain a positive, structured, and goal-oriented environment that promotes independence and growth.
*Key Responsibilities:*
• Coordinate and oversee daily activities, ensuring that Day Hab programs are delivered in alignment with individual service plans and OPWDD standards.
• Manage the scheduling of activities, outings, and services to promote skill-building and community integration.
• Provide daily supervision, guidance, and mentorship to direct support professionals (DSPs).
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate program updates, address concerns, and promote team cohesion.
• Monitor staff performance, provide constructive feedback, and recommend training or development as needed.
• Ensure that services are individualized and that participants are actively engaged in meaningful activities.
• Address participants’ needs promptly and effectively while promoting their independence and participation.
• Maintain accurate records of participant progress, incidents, and program activities.
• Ensure compliance with OPWDD guidelines, including documentation of goals, objectives, and outcomes.
• Conduct regular safety checks and ensure the well-being of all participants.
• Work closely with program managers, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective service plans.
• Communicate regularly with stakeholders regarding program updates, participant progress, and any concerns.
*Qualifications:*
• Experience in developmental disabilities services or a similar field is preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a team while fostering a supportive and respectful environment.
• Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Commitment to promoting independence and improving the quality of life for individuals with developmental disabilities.
