We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our finance team. This role is essential in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of financial transactions related to vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and purchase orders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Essential Job Functions
Accurately enter purchase orders, employee reimbursements, invoices, and check requests into the accounting system in accordance with corporate policies. Process vendor payments and issue checks on a semi-weekly basis. Review purchase orders, reimbursements, and invoices for proper general ledger coding and required approvals. Scan and mail checks, and provide backup support for various accounts payable functions. Reconcile vendor statements and follow up on outstanding payment issues. Review employee credit card charges for compliance with company policies and correct general ledger coding. Communicate with employees regarding delinquent credit card reports or incorrect coding. Assist the Senior Accountant with journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. Support ad hoc projects as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller. Prepare and maintain standard operating procedures for accounts payable processes Other Duties

Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
or
a minimum of 23 years of prior accounts payable experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Proven ability to manage and organize large volumes of paper and electronic invoices. High level of accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Quick learner with strong multitasking and time management skills. Willingness to work overtime to meet deadlines when necessary. Willingness to learn additional administrative systems such as eCMS, ECM, and Concur. Prior accounts payable experience preferred. Strong professional references required. Benefit Summary
