Sr Software Technical Product Manager Oncology
Responsibilities:
Identify critical customer problems, user needs, and potential solution concepts.
Work with product marketing to define the product's long-term strategy and roadmap.
Lead a multidisciplinary team to transform operational/customer needs into system requirements.
Develop use cases, facilitate requirements elicitation, and produce software requirements specifications in an Agile Scrum environment.
Review and validate requirements with stakeholders and development teams.
Set product development priorities and communicate requirements across teams.
Contribute to marketing collateral development.
Create software documentation, guides, and technical overviews.
Design diagrams, process flows, and mock-ups to aid system design and knowledge transfer.
Collaborate on system design to ensure scalability and uptime.
Assist in managing partnerships and support product-related inquiries.
Provide technical leadership and facilitate cross-disciplinary communication.
Work with project management to track product development progress.
Requirements:
Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
Experience in requirements gathering, Scrum product ownership, and SDLC knowledge.
Knowledge of genomics analysis software, pipelines, and cloud platforms.
Ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience in user experience design and programming (a plus).
Experience in regulated environments (a plus).
Education:
Typically 12+ years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 8+ years with a Master’s, or 5+ years with a PhD, or equivalent experience.
