Cook Children's Health Care System (CCHCS) based in Fort Worth, TX is seeking a board certified/board eligible child neurologist with subspecialty training in epilepsy to join our growing Neurology team at our Cook Children’s Medical Center (CCMC) in Prosper, TX as a junior physician.

Our Prosper Campus is a state-of-the-art medical facility including a free-standing children’s hospital, multispecialty outpatient clinics, and urgent care. Opened in 2022, the hospital includes emergency services, medical/surgical unit, and operating rooms. Key Opportunity Highlights: · Join an established neurology group of 2 providers at our growing Prosper campus. · Enjoy close collaboration with the entire neurology group, as well as the CCMC main campus in Fort Worth, with ability to consult with other sub-specialty neurology providers in neuro-immunology, neuromuscular, movement, surgical epilepsy, stroke, neuro-oncology, and headache. · Outpatient clinic and inpatient consultation only, treating a mix of general neurology and epilepsy patients. · Upcoming 4 bed Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU) to open. · Call schedule will be 1:5 nights and 1:5 weekends. · Video EEG and MRI and neuropsychology are available at Prosper; however, our Prosper neurology team does refer to out epilepsy group at main campus for surgical work up. The candidate will join a seasoned established neurology team dedicated to improving the care of children in our region through quality care. Minimum qualifications: Incumbent must have completed an accredited pediatric specialty training program and be board certified/board eligible in child neurology with subspecialty training in epilepsy. Must be qualified to obtain an unrestricted Texas Medical License and DEA before commencing employment.
